Joiwo Explosion-proof operated emergency telephone systems in Haiyang Nuclear Power Plants, Yantai Shandong Province through bidding in 2024.
I. Project Background and Challenges
Yantai City has four major nuclear power bases, namely Haiyang, Laiyang, and Zhaoyuan, and has planned the construction of multiple nuclear energy and industrial parks. The Haiyang Nuclear Power Industrial Zone, located in Haiyang City, Shandong Province, sits on the eastern end of a cape surrounded by the sea on three sides. It covers an area of 2,256 mu (approximately 166 acres), with a total investment exceeding 100 billion yuan. Six million-kilowatt nuclear power units are planned for construction.
In such a large-scale, high-standard nuclear power base, the communications system faces numerous challenges:
